Homemade Granola

~crunhy all the way

Starting the day with some yoghurt and granola can be a true mood-booster - except that finding the best cereals isn't always a piece of cake. The ones we find in shops usually contain added sugar or/and unnatural flavoures. But why would you buy it, when you can easily make it? Oats, nuts and honey - that's all it takes. It's worth a try, isn't it?



Ingredients:

✔ 150 g rolled oats

✔ 1 handful of chopped almonds

✔ 1 handful of chopped walnuts

✔ 1 handful of chopped cashew nuts

✔ 1 handful of chopped pistacchios - I usually use salted ones because I like the salty-sweet result

✔ 1 spoonful coconut oil

✔ 2 tbsp of honey or maple syrup

Optional: dried fruits, pecan nuts

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180° C and line your tray with baking paper.

  2. Mix all the ingredients together until everything is sticky.

  3. Leave in the owen for about 20 minutes, or more if you like it crunchier.

  4. Eat it with milk, yoghurt or a colorful smoothie.

RO: Granola de casă

Ingrediente:

✔ 150 g fulgi de ovăz

✔ 1 mână de migdale tăiate bucățele

✔ 1 mână de nuci tăiate bucâțele

✔ 1 mână de nuci caju tăiate bucățele

✔ 1 mână de fistic tăiate bucâțele - eu folosesc fistic sărat deoarece îmi place combinația dulce-sărat

✔ 1 lingură ulei de cocos

✔ 2 linguri miere sau sirop de arțar

Optional: fructe uscate, nuci pecan

Instrucțiuni:

  1. Preîncălzim cuptorul la 180° C și tapetăm o tavă cu hârtie de copt..

  2. Amestecăm toate ingredientele până când obținem un amestec lipicios.

  3. Lăsăm în cuptor pentru aproximativ 20 de minute, sau mai mult dacă vrem să iasă mai crocant.

  4. Le mâncăm cu lapte, iaurt sau un smoothie colorat..

HU: Házi Granola

Hozzávalók:

✔ 150 g zabpehely

✔ 1 marék apróra vágott mandula

✔ 1 marék apróra vágott dió

✔ 1 marék apróra vágott kesudió

✔ 1 marék apróra vágott pisztácia - én általában sós pisztáciát használok, mert szeretem az édes-sós kombinációt

✔ 1 ek kókuszolaj

✔ 2 ek méz vagy juharszirup

Választható: szárított gyümölcsök, pekándió

Elkészítés:

  1. Előmelegítjük a sütőt 180° C-ra és kibélelünk egy tepsit sütőpapírral.

  2. Összekeverjük a hozzávalókat, amíg egy ragadós állagú keveréket kapunk.

  3. Körülbelül 20 percig sütjük, vagy tovább, ha ropogósabban szeretjük.

  4. Tejjel, yoghurttal vagy egy színes smoothieval fogyasztjuk.
