120 years of Milka

-a sweet anniversary

If I had to look for only one word to describe Milka, I very possibly couldn't do it. Milka is so much more than one word! It is the way to share you care about your loved ones, the solution when you crave something sweet, the smile on a child's face, the partner of your monring coffee. And the best thing about it? That it's always there for you. Bad day? Try Milka Moments! Want something fruity? Strawberry Cheesecake it is! Can't decide between sweet and salty? Peanut Caramel will give you exactly what you need. And don't worry if you're not that much of a sweet tooth - Milka always has your back with Darkmilk. I absolutely love all of them - and I'm especially a fan of the new Milka Oreo White (which if you haven't tried yet, you should go for it RIGHT NOW). 120 years of Milka... 120 years of tender moments, 120 years of happiness, of excitement, of the sweetest memories. On this beautiful occassion, I had the chance to try out 12 of all the amazing Milka products, and I couldn't be more grateful. Milka has caused me so much joy that I could spread between my friends and family!

It's time I share all that love and excitement with you guys. So why don't I start with all those early mornings when I woke up to the sound of the rain on the roof and I made myself a hot coffee served with the most delicate chocolate cream biscuits (Milka Choco Pause) I have ever tried? Beacuse that's exactly what happened, this, obviously, just until I finished them and I switched to the fragile Milka Oreo Cookie Sensations (which, by the way, are also a perfect match for a morning coffee). The days got even better when I had the chance to meet up with my loved ones and share all those goodies with them. I wished happy bithday with The Milka Just for You pralinés to one of my dearest friends, the Choco Brownies had quickly disappeared from the kitchen table and soon all of us had a few Milka moments in their pockets before leaving to work because - well, just in case.

As you know already how much I adore baking, I obviously took advantage of all that chocolate and used them for chocolate creams, sweet coatings and I even hid a few pieces in some muffins (recipes coming soon, stay tuned!). Needless to say, however, that our favourite ones (AKA the Oreo White, the Strawbeery Cheesecake, the Bubbly White and the ALmond Crispy Creme (yes, I know that's almost all of them) didn't make it to be used in any recipe, as someone just opened them, and they were gone in one go.

If you guys love chocolate, then I guarantee you are going to love everything that Milka has to offer, and I truly recommend that you taste these products and let them make you and your loved ones feel as special as we did.
